What is Spanish Nature Club
¨Enriching childhood with nature and Spanish language¨
Spanish Nature Club is an outdoor educational program for children of all ages, that integrates both nature exposure and Spanish immersion. We have been in operation since 2020.
Our program is fully insured. Sessions are held in various "nature classrooms" around the Santa Cruz mountains. Led by native Spanish teacher and nature-awareness instructor Lisset Orozco. Your kids will have an opportunity to be kids. They will play outside, climb trees, find bugs, spot wild animals, dig holes at the beach, build forts, splash in creeks while bonding with nature and friends immersed in the Spanish language.
Our offerings
Spanish Nature Club offers preschool, homeschool and afterschool programs. Also winter, spring and summer camps and one-day camp in most school holidays and breaks. Also, recreational and conversational Spanish groups, "Parent and Me" classes, Spanish tutoring and costume groups.
Our Approach
Our program approach is simple "Get outside, get into nature, listen and learn Spanish". Based on sound learning principles and hands-on enriching activities in nature, the children minds will transition to a quieter and more open state of curiosity, socialization and learning.
Exposure and nourishing time in nature with friends.
Foster appreciation and respect for the local ecosystems.
Stimulating curious and inquisitive minds through emergent curriculum.
Foster empathy and open-mindedness through the exposure of a second and different language.
Spanish is introduced naturally though games, songs, storytelling, story time, nature journaling, art projects, watercolor painting, and mini-Spanish lessons along with reading and writing practice at kids own pace and level.
